The last Zoo Snooze of the 2026 season is an overnight campout inside Elmwood Park Zoo, recommended for children 4 and up. Families arrive at the main gate 5:00–6:30 PM for dinner, then an animal ambassador show at the Zoo Bowl Theater (6:45), games and activities, a scavenger hunt, a campfire with s'mores and lights out at 10:00 PM. Continental breakfast is at 8:00 AM, followed by a giraffe feeding and free zoo admission for the whole next day. Bring your own tent, sleeping bags and pillows, toiletries, a change of clothes, a flashlight, chargers, water bottles, bug spray and sunscreen. Outside food is allowed (coolers are checked) but alcohol is not. Price is $90 per non-member ($80 members) and $15 per non-member child 0–2 ($12 members); Community Passes are not accepted.
