A leisurely, guided 1–2 mile family hike that teaches you how to find your way around Tyler Arboretum's trail system, with plenty of time to stop, look, listen and ask questions about the season's discoveries. The guide is a long-time Tyler volunteer naturalist and certified PA Master Naturalist. Expect changes in grade and surface (pavement, grass, gravel, rocky trail and possible stream crossings); the group leaves the Visitor Center promptly at 10:00 AM and returns about 11:30. Wear layers and boots or sturdy shoes and bring water and a snack. Strollers are not suitable, so bring a carrier for little ones. Pre-registration is required and the ticket includes general admission to the grounds. Non-members pay $18 per adult, $15 per senior and $10 per child (3–17).
