A guided family nature walk at Tyler Arboretum in Media. Families use simple tools such as magnifying glasses to look for the Arboretum's plants, animals and seasonal highlights along the woodland trails, led by one of Tyler's lead educators. The 90-minute program is best suited to elementary school-age children with an adult, and siblings of any age are welcome. Check in at the Visitor Center to meet your guide and wear sturdy shoes. Strollers are not ideal on some trails, so bring a carrier for infants; in bad weather the program moves indoors. Pre-registration is required, and the ticket includes general admission so you can stay and explore the grounds afterward. Non-members pay $18 per adult, $15 per senior and $10 per child (3–17); members and library pass holders are free.
