Educators from the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium visit Peters Township Public Library with Zoo Moves, a 45-minute program about how animals get around. Children explore how birds soar above treetops, how monkeys swing from branch to branch, how gorillas knuckle-walk, how snakes slither and how rabbits hop, and they get to try out some of the movements themselves. The program is held on a Wednesday morning in the Multi-Purpose Room and is listed for children, making it a good fit for preschoolers and homeschoolers. Registration is required through the library's calendar.
