The McMinnville Downtown Association welcomes Santa to town with its Santa's Parade and Tree Lighting on Friday, November 27, the day after Thanksgiving. The parade starts at 4:30 p.m. on Historic Third Street, and the association invites friends, families and everyone else to gather along the street to usher in the holiday season as Santa arrives with what it calls a sleigh full of holiday spirit. The parade route is published on the association's Merry McMinnville page, which also invites local groups to join the parade or volunteer. The same page lists a holiday storefront display contest, with decorated downtown businesses on view from December 1 through January 1, which gives families a reason to stroll Third Street again during the season. A separate time for the tree lighting and an admission fee are not given on the page.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Page updated 2026-10-19; the parade block reads 'November 27, 2026 – Parade Starts at 4:30pm' (Nov 27, 2026 is the Friday after Thanksgiving). Some other blocks on the same page (Scratch & Win, storefront voting) still carry 2025 wording, but the parade date is 2026. No street numbers; the route is shown on the page.
