Children decorate an edible sugar skull (calavera de azúcar), the molded sugar-paste confection made for Mexico's Day of the Dead, at this STEAM Lab at Aloha Community Library. Kids learn about the history and meaning of sugar skulls while decorating a pre-made calaverita to keep or to honor a loved one. Supplies are limited and handed out first come, first served.
