Fratello Marionettes' winter show, The North Pole Review, plays the downtown Walnut Creek Library one week before winter break. The library's listing describes a music-based production with a graceful ice-skater marionette named Crystal Chandelier, high-kicking Russian Trepak dancers and a trio of acrobatic penguins — a variety-show format that holds the attention of preschoolers and early-elementary children without needing to follow a long story. The program is listed for all ages and billed as fun for the whole family; it runs one hour, 4:00 to 5:00 PM, and is sponsored by the Walnut Creek Library Foundation. No registration or fee is listed for the event.
