Mo Willems fans can meet Elephant and Piggie in person at the Castro Valley Library during Thanksgiving week. The two-hour drop-in party includes Elephant & Piggie crafts, photos with the characters and a drawing to win an Elephant & Piggie book. It is aimed at babies, toddlers, preschoolers and young readers and works well as a school-break outing. ASL interpretation or captioning can be requested seven days ahead.
