Livermore Downtown Inc.'s Kidz Town Halloween Hay Day is Saturday, October 24, 2026 from 10 AM to 1 PM in historic downtown Livermore, designed for children in 5th grade and under. Kids trick-or-treat at participating downtown businesses, and Carnegie Park (Third and J Streets) hosts Halloween-themed activity booths and games plus a free costume contest from 11 AM to 1 PM with prizes in infant–4, 5–8, 9–12 and family/group categories (costumes should be at least 70% handmade). Quest Science Center runs hands-on Halloween science activities at Stockmen's Park (29 S. Livermore Ave.) from 10 AM to 12 PM. Free trick-or-treat bags go to the first 1,500 children, while supplies last, at Marcel's booths in Livermorium Plaza and Stockmen's Park.
