On Halloween day, the Del Valle Visitor Center invites families to meet the creepy-crawly critters that live in the park and decide whether they are really scary or actually pretty cool. Expect hands-on activities, crafts and a few sweet treats, all at a relaxed drop-in pace between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm. Costumes are encouraged. The program is open to all ages with adult participation required and needs no registration. Del Valle charges a $5 parking fee at the entrance.
