CuriOdyssey educators lead a free guided hike through the wetlands of Coyote Point Recreation Area, right outside the museum's doors in San Mateo. The group looks for native plants, local wildlife and signs of seasonal change in the baylands marsh. Participants of all ages are welcome, but every child must stay with their grown-up for the whole hike. The group gathers at CuriOdyssey before heading out; the exact meeting point and what to bring are sent after you RSVP. The hike itself is free, but San Mateo County Parks charges a $6 vehicle entrance fee to the recreation area.
