At the Coyote Hills Visitor Center, children pick apart a real owl pellet to find the tiny bones and fur of what an owl ate, then match the bones to the animals they came from. Naturalists also introduce the kinds of owls that live at Coyote Hills and how they hunt. It is a hands-on, slightly gross and very popular science activity for curious kids, listed for all ages with a parent participating. Drop in at the start time; no registration is required. Parking fees apply where charged.
