To mark Picture Book Month, children bring a favorite stuffed animal to an evening storytime at the Lafayette Library, make a craft and a name tag for their fuzzy friend, and then leave it at the library overnight. Librarians document the toys' late-night library adventures, and children pick up their stuffed animal along with a mini photo album of its escapades on Wednesday, January 13 after 1 pm. The program is for children ages 3 to 9; space is limited and registration is required, and only children who will leave a stuffed animal overnight should be registered.
