BOO at the Barn fills the City of Issaquah's Pickering Barn with Halloween activities, split into two sessions so families can pick the right level of spooky. The 2–4 pm session is family-friendly, with carnival games and arts and crafts. The 6–8 pm session adds a tarot card reader, surprises in the Haunted Hay Barn and a Haunted Trail, and the city does not recommend it for children under 6. Across the afternoon and evening the barns host magical entertainers, line dancing, zombies, s'more pits and a scavenger hunt, and light concessions are sold. Attendance is limited, so tickets in advance are recommended. Remaining space may be sold at the door for $15, but entry is not guaranteed, and children 3 and younger are free.
