The Bellevue Family YMCA's fall festival mixes Halloween and hands-on STEM. Families cruise through a festive trunk-or-treat of decorated cars, children build and explore with robotics activities, and the pool turns into a 'magical pumpkin pool patch' for the evening. It is a good fit for school-age children who like building as much as candy. The YMCA of Greater Seattle's Fall Family Festivals are free and open to the whole community, not only members. Costumes are welcome, but adults may not wear masks or face coverings (except health-related ones), weapons and realistic weapon props are not allowed, and costumes should suit all ages.
