The Sammamish Community YMCA's festival adds a spooky walk-through called the Haunted Hallow to the usual bounce house and festive carnival games. The three-hour late-afternoon window lets families with younger children come early and leave before dark, while older kids can brave the Haunted Hallow. The YMCA of Greater Seattle's Fall Family Festivals are free and open to the whole community, not only members. Costumes are welcome, but adults may not wear masks or face coverings (except health-related ones), weapons and realistic weapon props are not allowed, and costumes should suit all ages.
