A family-friendly Halloween excursion on the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad, billed as more fun than frightening. Families board vintage 1920s coach cars at the Elbe depot and ride through autumn forest to East Creek Junction, the railroad's new stop for 2026, where they step off into a Halloween celebration in the woods with games, activities and treats before riding back. Costumes are encouraged, and an open-air Mountain View car is available to everyone on board. The trip takes about 2 hours 10 minutes. Children under 2 ride free.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
The event page says to check 'Buy Tickets' for dates; the Peek booking calendar (read via Cloudflare Browser Run) shows Family Halloween Trains only on Oct 24 among remaining October dates, at 10:00AM and 1:00PM, while the page lists Elbe departures 10:35am and 1:35pm, so time is null. Depot address from the railroad's Steam Into Christmas FAQ.
