Upcoming dates: Sat, Dec 5 · Sat, Dec 12
On the first two Saturdays of December, Tacoma Nature Center educators welcome the spawning salmon home to Swan Creek. Families learn about salmon and their conservation from staff on site, then hike up the creek through Swan Creek Park looking for spawning fish. It runs rain or shine, so dress warmly. Portions of the park are closed, and the Pioneer Way entrance is opened just for this event. Free.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read via Cloudflare Browser Run (parkstacoma.gov shows a Cloudflare challenge to curl); dates and times cross-checked against the site's own Events Calendar JSON feed (/wp-json/tribe/events/v1/events), which prints America/Los_Angeles times. The description gives the entrance as 2820 Pioneer Way E while the venue record says 2822; venue record used.
