Gateway Arch Park Foundation's Winterfest returns to Kiener Plaza in downtown St. Louis for its eleventh season, Nov. 21, 2026, through Jan. 3, 2027. The centerpiece is an outdoor ice rink in the shadow of the Arch, joined by marshmallow-toasting fire pits with s'mores kits, heated igloos, synthetic-ice street curling, a food cafe and a rotating lineup of free activities for all ages, including holiday markets and an ice-carving afternoon on Dec. 12. Hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays; from Dec. 26 to Jan. 3 the festival is open daily noon to 8 p.m., and it is closed Dec. 25. Entry is free. Skate rentals are $15 for adults and $10 for children 3 to 15, skating is free with your own skates, and kids 3 to 15 skate free every Friday courtesy of the St. Louis Blues. Reserving skate times online is strongly encouraged. S'mores kits ($18), igloos (from $100 per 90 minutes) and curling lanes ($65) are extra.
