Hazelwood Parks and Recreation hosts a Friday-night dance party for young "Swifties" ages 8 to 13 at Civic Center East. Kids dance and sing along to Taylor Swift hits, come dressed in their favorite era, make friendship bracelets and enjoy other Swift-themed activities; refreshments are provided. It runs from 7 to 9 p.m., so parents get a two-hour window for drop-off. Whether a child is a longtime fan or just likes to dance, the city says all are welcome. The fee is $20 for Hazelwood residents and $25 for non-residents, and registration goes through the city's parks and recreation online registration.
