When school is out around the holidays, Central Library hosts Kids Game Day: three hours of competitive play with all kinds of games, from board and tabletop games to video games. Kids challenge their friends (or make new ones) in a drop-in setting. Sessions run 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 25 (the day before Thanksgiving), Wednesday, Dec. 23, and Wednesday, Dec. 30. The library suggests ages 5 to 12; expect a loud, busy room.
