Kirkwood Public Library's twist on gingerbread season: on Monday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m., families build with graham crackers and other sweet treats — anything they can imagine except a house (houses are acceptable but, in the library's words, frowned upon). It is a family program held at the library on East Jefferson Avenue in downtown Kirkwood; sign-up is required and opens Nov. 7, and the hour-long evening session is free.
