Star Gazers: An Introduction to the Night Sky is a children's astronomy program at the Robert W. Saunders, Sr. Public Library in Tampa on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the Ada T. Payne Community Room A & B. The library recommends it for children ages 6 to 12 and advises that the room will be dark for a large portion of the program so participants can see the constellations. Registration is recommended; the program is limited to 15 participants with a short waitlist, and registration closes 30 minutes before the start. The same program repeats at other Hillsborough branches in December, including Ruskin, Fendig and Bloomingdale.
