Largo's annual Touch-a-Truck returns to Largo Central Park, paired this year with Pinellas County Schools' STEM Explorer Fest. Children can climb into and explore trucks, cars, boats and other vehicles and talk with the community helpers who drive them, then move on to hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities from the school district's STEM Explorer Fest. The city calls it a family-friendly event for all ages. The first two hours, 10 AM to noon, are sensory-friendly, with quieter music, no noise makers and no horns; horns are allowed from noon to 2 PM for kids who love the noise. Food and beverage vendors are on site. Admission is free and no registration is needed for visitors.
