Bull Run Festival of Lights is a 2.5-mile drive-through holiday light show in Bull Run Regional Park in Centreville, run nightly by NOVA Parks from November 14, 2026 through January 3, 2027, weather permitting. Families stay in their car for the drive, so it works for babies and toddlers who would not manage a long walk in the cold. At the end of the route there is a Holiday Village, a holiday stable and a carnival with holiday shopping and a petting zoo; entry to the village, stable and carnival is included with the vehicle ticket, while carnival rides and camel rides cost extra. Admission is charged per vehicle and ranges from $30 to $45 depending on the date when bought online in advance; buying ahead saves up to $20 per vehicle. NOVA Parks suggests visiting Monday to Thursday to avoid crowds, since weekends and the weeks around Christmas are busiest. On Thanksgiving the carnival is closed but the lights, village, stable and camel rides stay open.
