Lubber Run's 55+ program opens this Day of the Dead afternoon to all ages, inviting families to honor their ancestors' memories together. Participants decorate sugar skull cookies while watching the Pixar film Coco (2017, rated PG), and the program doubles as a gentle introduction to the Mexican holiday for anyone new to it. No 55+ Pass is required, and the event is free, though Arlington asks people to register. Note that it takes place on a Monday afternoon, so it suits younger children not in school, homeschool families, or grandparents bringing grandchildren.
