Sully Historic Site in Chantilly offers candlelight tours of its historic buildings and landscape on three Saturday evenings in November 2026: November 7, 14 and 21, with tours at 5:30 or 6 pm. Visitors experience how different kinds of light shaped the lives of Sully's free and enslaved residents, and refreshments are served afterward. The program is listed for ages 8 to adult, so it suits older children and teens interested in history; it involves walking outside and indoors in very low light. Preregistration is required, the fee is $12, and the tour is tied to the VA250 and Fairfax250 commemorations.
