About this adventure
Situated at 5,000 feet elevation in the San Bernardino mountain foothills of Oak Glen, Los Rios Rancho is Southern California's oldest operating apple orchard, spanning 300 scenic acres. In winter, the orchards settle into a peaceful mountain rhythm with crisp mountain air, dusting of snow on the upper orchards, and panoramic views of snow-covered Mount San Gorgonio. Families can wander free scenic trail loops winding through heritage apple groves, berry patches, and oak canyons managed in partnership with The Wildlands Conservancy. The rustic packing house bakery operates year-round serving steaming mugs of fresh spiced hot apple cider, mile-high apple pies, and warm barbecue, with farm animals for children to greet and open picnic lawns for relaxing.
