About this adventure

Most Saturday mornings at 10 the Atlanta Botanical Garden holds a public frog feeding at its amphibian collection, a quick, free-with-admission stop that children tend to love. Keepers feed the frogs while visitors watch how different species hunt: poison frogs flick out long sticky tongues so fast that the flies simply seem to vanish, while the fringed leaf frog stuffs crickets into its mouth with its hands. It takes only a few minutes, so arrive on time and plan the rest of the garden visit around it. The garden calendar lists feedings every Saturday through December (no session is listed on Saturday, January 2).
