Now in its 12th year, this holiday race raises money for the upkeep of Angel Park in Perry Hall. The 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. on an out-and-back course along Honeygo Boulevard and Forge Road, and the 1 mile family walk at 8:35 a.m. follows a paved out-and-back route. After the race there is hot chocolate, music, free runner photos and kids' activities including face painting and free candy canes, and organizers hint Santa may visit. 5K finishers receive a medal that doubles as a Christmas ornament, and shirts are guaranteed for anyone registered by November 30. The event runs rain, snow or shine. Children 10 and under pay reduced fees.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Event details still say packet pick-up 'SATURDAY 12/5/2025' while the description says Saturday, December 5th (2026 date); the race date 12/06/2026 is from the race record. Race details, start times and the fee in effect on 2026-10-20 come from the race's RunSignup registration page (organizer-run registration; read via the RunSignup public race API). Fees rise by registration period.
