- Resolution Run (benefiting Earl's Place)
Start 2027 at the Resolution Run in Patterson Park on New Year's Day afternoon, a Baltimore tradition that benefits Earl's Place, a transitional housing program for men experiencing homelessness. Little ones go first in the Kids Dash (about 150 meters) at 1:50 p.m., the 5K starts at 2 p.m. and the 1-mile walk at 2:05 p.m., so a whole family can take part at different distances. It's a relaxed way to get outside after New Year's Eve, and spectators are welcome to cheer.
