Chabad of Charlotte is holding a community Chanukah celebration on Sunday, December 6, the third night of Chanukah, with a live concert by Israeli singer Gad Elbaz, known for the song 'Hashem Melech', at the newly restored Carolina Theatre on Tryon Street in Uptown Charlotte. Chabad describes it as a family night out and is seeking sponsors to keep tickets affordable for families: seats start at $25 including all fees and are sold through Ticketmaster with reserved seating. The evening centers on music and Jewish pride, and Chabad says it hopes to give children a message of unity and resilience. Parking is available nearby. The start time had not been posted on Chabad's page when it was read.
