Geologist Dave Dolak introduces the fossils of the Chicago region at Sagawau Environmental Learning Center in Lemont on Sunday, November 8, from 1 to 3 pm. After the talk, the group walks about 1.5 miles to visit Sagawau's fossil quarry. The tour is free. It suits school-age kids who are into rocks, dinosaurs or science and can manage a walk of that length; wear sturdy shoes.
