Throughout November, Hidden Oaks Nature Center invites visitors to 'play well' (the meaning of the Danish phrase behind the LEGO name) by building nature-themed creations from LEGO bricks. Need ideas? Take a short observation hike around Hidden Oaks Preserve first, or use the photos and prompt cards provided. Show a picture or description of your build at the front desk to receive a small prize. Standard and larger bricks are available, so preschoolers and older kids can both join. Free drop-in, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday, November 1–29.
