About this adventure
A kids' cooking class at KPL Kids @ Uptown Lofts, Kenosha Public Library's children's space, marking National Nacho Day. Children ages 5 to 12 slice, dice and chop a variety of fresh toppings, add spices and top them with melted cheese to build their own plate of nachos. The class lasts one hour in the space's activities rooms. Registration and a signed waiver are required before the class begins; the library's listing opens registration on Friday, October 30 at 9 a.m., caps the class at 20 participants with up to four seats per registration, and keeps a waitlist. The recipe contains dairy, and the library asks families to contact its staff at lrivers@mykpl.info about possible accommodations for food allergies.
