A drop-off evening at Heller Nature Center on Saturday, October 17 (Sweetest Day), from 6 to 8 p.m. Naturalists lead kids ages 5 to 12 in pumpkin science: scooping and squishing the guts and seeds and running sticky, messy and even exploding experiments. Pizza is served. The fee is $28 per child, and parents are free to go out for the evening.
