Little Saplings is the Kane County Forest Preserve's monthly nature program for 3- to 5-year-olds, mixing stories, nature hikes, songs, games and crafts around a theme. November's session, "Oh, Deer!", is Thursday, November 19, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Creek Bend Nature Center. A parent or caregiver must stay with the child. $5 per child; advance registration required. Dress for the weather, since part of the program is spent outdoors on the preserve's trails.
