WonderKids is Isle a la Cache Museum's hands-on program for families with preschoolers. The November session on Thursday, November 5, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. is all about squirrels, with facts, singing, story time, table activities and crafts. Designed for children 2 to 7 with a registered adult. Free; register by November 3. The museum sits on an island in the Des Plaines River, and families can walk the short island trail after the program to look for squirrels themselves.
