About this adventure
An outdoor seasonal ice rink in the centre of downtown Middletown, the anchor of the Very Merry Middletown holiday season. Single tickets are sold at the gate and include unlimited skating for the day; skate aids can be rented by the half hour for young or wobbly skaters, and heated igloos can be reserved for families who want somewhere warm to sit between laps. The rink also runs short weekend skating lessons (Saturday and Sunday, 2:00–2:30 and 2:30–3:00 pm), discounted Wednesday theme nights and weekend character skates. Opening hours change over the season: after-school hours on weekdays until Dec 18 and again Jan 5–10, longer daytime hours over the holiday break (Dec 19–Jan 4), closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
