About this adventure

The Pendleton County Homemakers, with the county Extension Office, fill Southern Elementary School in Falmouth with a one-day holiday fair. Local artisans and woodworkers sell handcrafted gifts, and there are artisan foods and baked treats to buy. For children there is a holiday StoryWalk of Dolly Parton's Billy the Kid Comes Home for Christmas and photos with Santa, and a food truck sells lunch. Entry is free, so it is an easy small-town outing for families who want to shop local and let the kids see Santa without a mall line. A sensory-friendly StoryWalk session follows in the afternoon.
