About this adventure

Great Lakes Science Center on the downtown lakefront is home to the NASA Glenn Visitor Center and hundreds of hands-on exhibits, temporary exhibitions and daily science demonstrations aimed at making STEM come alive for kids. Mission Flight VR inside the NASA area lets visitors ride a virtual space shuttle or visit the International Space Station for an extra charge. Next door, the restored 1925 freighter Steamship William G. Mather can be toured from pilot house to the four-story engine room on fall weekends (separate ticket). TITANIC: The Artifact Exhibition is currently on show as an add-on. Sunday mornings 10 a.m. to noon are "GLSC for Me" sensory-friendly hours. The Center closes on home Cleveland Browns game days, so check the special-hours list before going.
