About this adventure
A winter version of the Metroparks' family map and compass session. After a short lesson in reading a map and using a compass, families head onto the trails near the program center to find snowflakes hidden along the route. The organizer suggests the earliest timeslot for anyone who wants to search in daylight. Registration is required for each participant; minors need a registered, participating adult. A second date runs at Garfield Park Program Center on December 17 (2:30 and 3:30 p.m.).
