The Palace Arts Center in historic downtown Grapevine closes its October series of Trick-or-Treat Cartoons & Crafts on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, with two showings, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Children make a craft while classic Halloween cartoons play on the big screen; the October 27 program is It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (1966, 25 minutes) and Toy Story of Terror (2013, 22 minutes), a little under an hour of films. A child ticket costs $6 and includes the craft activity, a small popcorn and a drink; an adult ticket costs $3 and includes a drink. Every guest needs a ticket, children must come with an adult, and adults cannot attend without a child. Children under 2 do not need a ticket but do not get a craft kit. Enter through the Lancaster Theatre, the yellow building with green doors beside the Palace Theatre at 300 S. Main St. All ticket sales are final. Because it runs on a Tuesday, it mainly suits preschoolers and younger children with a caregiver.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Read from the Grapevine CVB (City of Grapevine) Simpleview event API with curl: events_by_date with a title regex, then plugins_events_events by recid. recid 42149. The series heading reads 'TRICK-OR-TREAT CARTOONS AND CRAFTS 2026'; the October 6, 13 and 20 showings are past, so only October 27 (10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) is recorded. Price = lowest standard ticket ($3 adult). The CVB files it under the Palace Arts Center listing; seats remaining not checked.
