Heritage Farmstead Museum in Plano runs Lights on the Farmstead for the sixth year, on select evenings from November 20 to December 30, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. Visitors walk a quarter-mile lit path through the historic 4-acre farm, with more than a million lights, holiday displays and music. Many nights have a theme with costumed characters on site from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. These include Mickey and Minnie on opening night (Nov 20), Galaxy Night (Nov 21), Bluey (Nov 27), Superhero Night (Nov 28), Toy Story (Dec 4), Royal Night for princesses and princes (Dec 11), Frozen (Dec 18), Wicked Wonderland (Dec 19), Grinch nights (Dec 20–21), Pajama Night (Dec 22) and a New Year's Eve party (Dec 30). Dec 10 is a 21+ night. Santa is there every night, and an elf will take 2–4 photos on your phone for $10. Concessions are limited to cocoa, s'mores, donuts, popcorn and drinks, and the event is cashless. Advance tickets are $15 for adults (13+) and $12 for youth 3–12, and tickets cost more at the door. Parking near the farm is limited, so check the shuttle details on the listing.
