Dallas Zoo Lights, presented by Reliant, opens on select nights from November 13 through January 3, 5:30–9 p.m. The display uses the zoo's main entrance, ZooNorth and the Tunnel, with more than two million lights, big lanterns, a holiday maze, a 'Destination: Dinosaurs' area, holiday photo spots, musical performances and visits with Santa. The zoo says the event is for viewing lights: most animals are in their night-time habitats by then. Families who want to see animals too can buy a Combo Ticket for $10 more, which lets you into the zoo from 2:30 p.m. (head to Wilds of Africa first, as it closes at 5 p.m.) and lets you stay for the lights. Admission starts at $19. Parking costs $15 extra and is free for members. Patron-level members and above get in free. You can also book heated igloos and pre-ordered cocoa or glow-gear packages. Tickets carry an arrival window. They can't be refunded but can be swapped for another night through Guest Services.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Page gives 'NOVEMBER 13–JANUARY 3' without a year; the current events hub (with Oct 30 Dog Days and a ©2026 footer) lists it as the upcoming season, so 2026–27 is taken from the page context. Open on select nights only — exact operating nights are not listed in the page text.
