Dallas Theater Center's annual production of A Christmas Carol returns to the Wyly Theatre in the Dallas Arts District from the day after Thanksgiving through December 27. The staging follows Ebenezer Scrooge on a Christmas Eve journey with three spirits through Christmases past, present and future, with dazzling visuals and music; the AT&T Performing Arts Center files it under its family events. There are about 30 performances, mostly evenings at 7:30 pm with 2 pm matinees on weekends, plus Christmas Eve shows at noon and 4 pm and a Saturday, December 5 evening show at 8 pm. Matinees are the best fit for younger school-age children, while teens may enjoy an evening performance downtown. No age guidance is printed, so check with the theater if you are bringing very young children. Tickets are sold through Dallas Theater Center's own box office, linked from the event page.
