Texas Ballet Theater performs Ben Stevenson's The Nutcracker, set to Tchaikovsky's score, at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas from November 27 to December 6, 2026. The ballet follows young Clara from her family's festive home to the Kingdom of Sweets, with full sets and the well-known choreography, and the company presents it as a family holiday tradition. Dallas performances are Friday, November 27 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, November 28 at 2 and 8 p.m.; Sunday, November 29 at 2 p.m.; Thursday, December 3 at 7 p.m.; Friday, December 4 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, December 5 at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday, December 6 at 2 p.m. For first-time young audiences, the 2 p.m. matinees are usually the easiest choice. Book tickets through TBT's own box office. The company also has a separate Fort Worth run at Bass Performance Hall in December (listed separately).
