Festival Ballet of North Central Texas, a Denton company now in its 39th season, presents The Nutcracker, its annual holiday tradition, at the University Theater in the RTFP Building on the University of North Texas campus. Performances run December 11–13, 2026. The Denton CVB listing does not give curtain times, so check them with the company when booking. Tickets are already on sale, with admission listed at $37.75 to $46.16, and the company invites families to reserve seats early. Questions can go to the company's production email or phone. It suits families looking for a Nutcracker in Denton County instead of a trip to central Dallas or Fort Worth, and it can be a good first ballet for children who can sit through a full-length evening or matinee performance.
