Six Flags Over Texas

Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington turns into Holiday in the Park on select days from November 22 through December 30. The park adds dazzling light displays and immersive holiday decorations, festive live shows, specialty holiday food and drink, and visits with Santa, while select rides and attractions stay open. According to the park, the live shows, light displays, select activities and most rides are included with regular park admission, season passes and memberships; food, drinks, merchandise and certain holiday experiences cost extra. Because the event runs only on select days, check the park's Calendar & Hours page before you go — operating hours change through the season. Rides have height requirements, so families with toddlers may want to focus on the lights, shows and Santa, while older children and teens can combine coasters with an evening walk through the light displays once it gets dark. Daily tickets, passes and parking are sold on the Six Flags website.
