ice! is the signature attraction of Christmas at Gaylord Rockies in Aurora: a self-guided walk through scenes from Disney's "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" carved from about 2 million pounds of ice. Visitors wander Halloween Town with Jack Skellington and Sally, crawl into a snowy Christmas Town finale and ride two-story ice slides, which have five lanes plus one child-sized slide. The attraction is kept at 9°F, and every guest is given a hooded, calf-length parka in sizes from infants up to adult 4XL. Closed-toe shoes are required for the slides, and hats and gloves are strongly recommended. Most guests spend 20–40 minutes inside, and tickets are single-entry. Strollers and wagons are not allowed in the attraction, and there are no restrooms inside. Tickets are timed and sold online only; the resort has no on-site box office. Guests under 18 must come with a paid adult, and children 3 and under are free with a paid adult. Parking is extra ($35 self-parking per day). Other paid holiday activities at the resort include indoor snow tubing, gingerbread decorating, Elf Training Academy, Mrs. Claus' storytime and photos with Santa.
